Ershad’s Jatiya Party (JaPa), part of the Awami League’s Grand Alliance, has got 40 seats out of 300 seats to contest the upcoming 11th parliamentary elections.

Besides, Rashed Khan’s Workers Party 5, Jukta Front 3, JSD (Inu) 3, Tariqat Federation 2, JP (Manju) 2 and JSD (Nurul Ambia) gets 1 seat from Awami League.

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader confirmed the allotment of seats while announcing the final list of its candidates at the party chief’s Dhanmondi office in Dhaka.
