Saudi woman gets death for killing BD worker for first time

A Saudi woman has been sentenced to death by a Saudi court for killing a Bangladeshi domestic worker in Saudi Arabia.
The country’s court handed over the verdict on Monday. With this verdict, the trial of killing any Bangladeshi was held in the country for the first time.
The convicted woman was identified as Ayesha Jizani, a housewife.
The court also sentenced the householder to life imprisonment for the brutal murder. Besides imprisonment, he was also fined $1.1 million (Tk 11 lakh).
