Saudia, a Saudi Arabian airline, has announced that it will operate regular flights from Sunday in response to demands from expatriate workers bound for Saudi Arabia.

The company’s Dhaka Manager (Sales and Booking) Zahidul Islam confirmed the matter on Saturday afternoon.

He said those who wanted to go to Saudi Arabia from April 14 to April 21 had to have their tickets re-issued.

“Those traveling to Saudi Arabia have been told not to go directly to the Covid Test or to the airport. At first, they must re-issue tickets from the 14th to the 21st. After that, they can go through Covid test.”

Jahidul Islam also said that those who do not get tickets will be refunded. “Only the flights that are tomorrow, we are trying to fulfill them. In this case, priority will be given to passengers on April 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 in phases,” he added.
