Saudi Arabia releases 23 corruption detainees

Saudi Arabia has released 23 peoples among 200 rich and powerful individuals detained on corruption charges since November. Citing the Saudi media news agency Reuters reported this on Tuesday.

However, the names of the released people were not disclosed. But the report also said that more detainees will be released in the coming days, while the rest. 

It is to be noted that in November, Saudi authorities detained more than 200 people, including the members of the royal family, who were influential by the government.

They were detained in an anti-corruption crackdown led by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The suspects have been held at the Ritz Carlton and other five-star hotels in Riyadh.
