Sarwar bin Kashem appointed chief of RAB intelligence

The Director-General of the country's elite force Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has issued an office order appointing Lt. Colonel Sarwar bin Kashem as the head of the intelligence branch.
Prior to that, he (Sarwar bin Kashem) was the spokesperson for the RAB's Law and Media Branch. Besides, he was the acting director of the intelligence branch as an additional responsibility.
An office order signed by the Director-General (DG) of the Elite Force, Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun, gave him full responsibility as the head of the intelligence branch.
Sarwar, known as a meritorious, honest, and hardworking officer, became the captain of RAB-1 on January 1, 2017. In addition to cracking down on terrorism, the intelligence chief also has a reputation as a humanitarian officer. He has received the highest medal PPM (Service) of the police for his efficient performance.
On the other hand, in the same order, the current RAB-2 commander Lt. Colonel Ashiq Billah has been appointed as the new spokesperson of the law and media branch of the force.
And Lt. Colonel Imran Ullah Sarkar is coming in charge of the captain of RAB-2. He is currently the captain of RAB-11.
