Sahara Khatun being taken Bangkok at noon

Awami League presidium member and former Home Minister Sahara Khatun will be taken to Bangkok by air ambulance on Monday for advanced treatment.
Confirming the matter to Daily Bangladesh, Sahara Khatun’s nephew and personal assistant Mojibur Rahman, said that the air ambulance is scheduled to leave at 1:00 pm on Monday as per the air ambulance authority’s schedule. Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is inquiring about Sahara Khatun’s treatment.
Mojibur Rahman said Sahara Khatun is being taken to Bumrungrad International Hospital Bangkok. “At first, there was a little problem with the visa, but now there is no problem. Sahara Khatun’s physical condition is the same as before,” he also said.
“The two of us, nephew Anisur Rahman and I, are going with aunt,” said Mojibur Rahman, adding, “Those of us who are going have to stay in quarantine for 14 days due to coronavirus according to the rules of that country.”
As for now, she is being taken for advanced treatment in Bangkok on the family initiative. However, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been inquiring Sahara Khatun from the very beginning. With her permission and cooperation, Sahara Khatun is being taken there. Prime Minister has also borne all the expenses in United Hospital, he added.
Sahara Khatun was admitted to the United Hospital in the capital with various ailments including fever and allergies on June 2. When the situation deteriorated, she was taken to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on June 19 morning. As her condition improved, she was transferred from ICU to HDU (High Dependency Unit) on June 22, however, Sahara Khatun’s heartbeat decreased on June 26, as a result, she was taken back to the ICU around 11:00 am.
