Dhallywood actor Sadek Bachchu, who died of coronavirus in the capital’s Universal Medical College Hospital this morning was buried at Taltola Graveyard in Khilgaon after Maghrib prayers.

FDC sources said the body of actor Sadek Bachchu was taken out from Universal Medical College Hospital at 3 pm on Monday. Since he was tested positive for coronavirus, the voluntary organization Al Markazul arranged the burial process of the actor.

After completing all procedures the actor was buried at Taltala graveyard after the Maghrib prayers.

Sadeq Bachchu was suffering from breathing problems. He tested positive for the coronavirus and was admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital on September 7 after his condition deteriorated. He was later taken to Universal Hospital in Mohakhali.

Sadek Bachchu has acted in many movies. He has gained a lot of popularity by working more in the role of villain. Apart from movies, he has also done many plays on stage, radio, and television.

The real name of the Bangladesh National Film Awards winning actor is Mahbub Ahmed Sadek. He had been known as Sadek Bachchu since gaining fame for his role in the movie "Chadni" by Ehtesham.

His acting career started with radio and theatre in 1963. He was introduced in television drama in 1974. His first television drama was "Prothom Angeekar".

Afterward, he acted in numerous TV plays, earning recognition.

Born in Chandpur on January 1, 1955, he received the National Film Awards for his performance in "Ekti Cinemar Golpo" in 2018. Besides acting, Sadek Bachchu was also known for writing.
