The result of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations will be published on Sunday. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will announce the results through video conferencing from her official residence, Ganobhaban at 10:00 am; said Mohammad Abul Khair, Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Education.

He further said that the Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni will present the details of the results through a Facebook live program at 12:00 pm on the same day.

Earlier on May 21, Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Secretary Mahbubur Rahman told UNB that the results of the SSC and equivalent examinations would be published on May 31.

He added that students do not have to go to school to know the results. “They will be able to know through SMS. More details will be posted on the website before publishing the results.”

This year’s SSC and equivalent examinations were started across the country on February 3 under 10 education boards – a total of 20,47,779 students from 28,884 educational institutions of the country took part in the examination.
