SSC, equivalent exams begin

SSC and equivalent examinations started on Monday. And strict action will be taken against those who try to leak question and spread the rumor about the question leak, said Education Minister Dipu Moni on Sunday

The examination will be held daily from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni will visit Tejgaon Government Girls School Center in the capital on Monday morning.

This year, under the nine general education boards and madrasas and technical education boards, 20,47,779 students are participating in the exam. And 342 students will participate in the exam in eight centers abroad.

Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni wishes all the best to all SSC examinees. “This is an important test in the lives of students,” she told Daily Bangladesh adding, “Best of luck to all those who are participating in the exam. They should do well in exams and use the knowledge acquired for the country and people in future life.”

Dhaka Education Board Examination Controller Professor SM Amirul Islam said all measures have been taken to prevent question leak. Students will have to go to the exam center 30 minutes ahead of the exam. Students with disabilities will get an extra 20 minutes.

Also, in a press release on Thursday, the order was issued by the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), to ensure proper and peaceful examination, that access to public examination is completely prohibited except the examinees within 200 yards of the exam centers.

The order will remain in force from February 3 until the end of the examination. Noted that the SSC exams will end on February 27.
