The trial is set to begin in the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court on Monday, almost four months later. There will be a virtual hearing of cases in the Appellate Division on Monday and Thursday, two days a week.
Badrul Alam Bhuiyan, the registrar of the appellate division of the Supreme Court, said this on Sunday.
He said that due to the Coronavirus situation, the Chief Justice has given the approval to conduct the proceedings of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court using information technology only through virtual presence.
Hearings will be held every Monday and Thursday from 10 am to 1:15 pm, until further notice.
The trial in the Virtual High Court Bench and Chamber Court has been going on since May 10.
