The hearing on BNP leader Khaleda Zia's bail order in the Zia Charitable Trust corruption case will be held at 2 pm on Thursday in a High Court bench comprised of Justice Obaidul Hasan and Justice KM Zahirul Haque.

Meanwhile, Khaleda Zia did not consent for advanced treatment, states the court after reading the medical report this morning.

Earlier, on Wednesday, Khaleda Zia's medical report was filed in the High Court by the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) authorities. Special Officer of the Supreme Court Md Saifur Rahman confirmed the matter to DailyBangladesh.

BSMMU lawyer Tania Akter handed over the BNP chairperson's health report to the Supreme Court Registrar General, she said. However, it is not known what is in the report.

Khaleda Zia's lawyers say that if the report is not satisfactory, an appeal will be made to appear Kaleda Zia before the court to explain the illness.

On the other hand, the ACC lawyer said that Khaleda Zia's bail was rejected in the Appellate Division considering the depth of the crime, and bail will be rejected in the High Court again. In order to be released, she has to be granted bail in charitable and orphanage corruption cases.

Earlier on February 23, the High Court sought information on three medical conditions related to the treatment of BNP leader Khaleda Zia, who is convicted in the Zia Charitable Trust case.
