Ronald Koeman appointed new Barcelona boss

Ronald Koeman has been announced as Barcelona’s new manager on a two-year deal, just two days after the club sacked Quique Setien.
Barcelona confirmed the matter on their official Twitter page on Wednesday. They posted a picture of the former Dutch coach and wrote, “Welcome home, Koeman.”
The 57-year-old Ronald Koeman left his role as Netherlands boss and signed a two-year deal with the Spanish giants.
Barcelona sacked Quique Setien on Monday following Friday night’s humiliating 8-2 defeat to Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals of the Champions League. After that, the club named Ronald Koeman as their new boss.
Ronald Koeman, a former player, who played for Barcelona between 1989 and 1995, helping them to four league titles and the European Cup. He also scored the winning goal of the European Cup final in 1992, the Catalan club’s first-ever success in Europe’s top club competition.
