Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik's bail plea has been adjourned till September 29. Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) took two siblings into custody on Sept 9 in connection with a drug case related to the investigation into Sushant Singh Rajput's death.
On the previous day, their lawyer Satish Maneshinde said the court would hear their bail plea today. According to the latest report of Times Now, the hearing has been postponed till September 29.
Meanwhile, Rhea has made some startling statements in her bail plea. Rhea claimed she was innocent and that NCB officials were trying to bring charges against her. The actress further said that such a situation is having a serious impact on her mental health and it could get worse later on.
During Rhea Chakraborty's bail plea hearing in Bombay High Court today, her lawyer Satish Manshinde stated, "Nothing has been seized from Rhea, it’s a witch hunt."
