Renu murder: Chargesheet on Nov 2

A court has fixed November 2 for the chargesheet against 15 people in connection with the murder of Taslima Begum Renu on suspicion of kidnapping in Uttar Badda.
Thursday was set as the date for receiving the chargesheet in the case. But Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Sadbir Yasir Ahsan Chowdhury set a new date as the original documents of the case were in the criminal miss case.
Earlier on September 10, DB Police Inspector Abdul Haque filed a chargesheet against 15 people in the Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate's Court.
The accused in the chargesheet are- Ibrahim alias Hridoy Mollah, Riya Begum Moyna, Abul Kalam Azad, Kamal Hossain, Md. Shahin, Bachchu Mia, Md. Bappi, Murad Mia, Sohail Rana, Asadul Islam, Bellal Mollah, Md. Raju and Mohin Uddin. Among them Mohin Uddin is a fugitive. An arrest warrant has been issued against him.
Accused Zafar Hossain Patwari and Wasim Ahmed have been charged as they are minors. As the charge was not found against Alif, Maruf, Sumon and Aklima, the investigating officer applied for their release.
It is to be mentioned that on July 20, 2019, the agitated crowd beat and injured Taslima Begum Renu on suspicion of child kidnapping in North Badda. He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) in critical condition and was pronounced dead by the on-duty doctor. Renu's nephew Nasir Uddin filed a murder case against 400 to 500 unidentified persons at Badda police station on the same day.
