Turmeric has been used in Bengali food and it is an important ingredient in households for the longest time ever. However, long ago, raw turmeric was used directly in food, but nowadays it is very rare in our busy life.
Turmeric enhances the beauty of food, though it does not enhance any taste. However, it has thousands of health benefits. Especially raw turmeric. It is also very effective in preventing the infection of any virus.
You can eat raw turmeric mixed with hot milk, tea, or water to avoid the virus or common flu. It will also help boost your immune system. However, in this case, raw turmeric should be used, not powdered turmeric or dried turmeric.
A study from the Public Library of Science found that the anti-inflammatory properties of raw turmeric help boost immunity. Turmeric has anti-viral, anti-fungal, and anti-bacterial properties which help in the growth of healthy bacteria in the gut.
