Ramendu Majumdar, wife Ferdousi contract Covid-19

Playwright Ramendu Majumdar, who is also a stage director and theater producer, and his wife legendary actress Ferdousi Majumder are tested positive for the coronavirus, Ramendu Majumder himself has confirmed the matter on Friday, saying that “they are currently in isolation at home.”
When Ferdousi Majumdar had Covid-19 symptoms, she was tested the virus-positive on July 18. Since then, she has been in isolation, said Ramendu Majumder, adding, “I also felt a fever a week after Ferdousi tested for the virus. Then I also do the test and tested positive for the coronavirus.”
Mentioning that both of them are currently recovering, the stage director and theater producer said, “There are no symptoms now. We both are healthy. Eating normal food, Ferdousi is cooking by herself. I’m at home too, everything is normal. I will test again in two or three days. Hopefully, the result will come negative.”
The couple has made outstanding contributions to the country’s stage and TV dramas. They also acted in movies. They are associated with Natoker Dol Theater. Ramendu Majumder is the president of the International Theatre Institute (ITI). He received the Ekushey Padak for his contribution to acting. On the other hand, Ferdousi Majumder received Ekushey Padak and Swadhinata Padak.
