Rakitic retires from international football

Sevilla midfielder Ivan Rakitic has decided to bring an end to his international career as Croatia's football federation announced on Monday.
The 32-year-old played over a hundred times for Croatia and scored 15 goals. He was a key part to Croatia reaching the 2018 World Cup final.

#HvalaRaketa” it was tweeted on Croatian Football Federation official Twitter feed.
“It is with great emotion that I made the decision to announce my international retirement. It was a huge honor to have had the chance to represent my country, Croatia, at the international level and in the most prestigious competitions.
106 caps and 15 goals. What an incredible dream. Everything we achieved together as a Team, as a Nation, will remain forever in my memory and in my heart as the greatest accomplishment of my career.
