Rainfall to decrease in three days

Rain or thundershowers activity may decrease in the next 72 hours or three days, said the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) in a weather bulletin today.
The country’s Met Office, however, said on Thursday that the “light to moderate rain or thundershowers” accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram & Sylhet divisions with “moderately heavy to heavy falls and hails” at isolated places over the country.
Besides, day and night temperature may fall slightly over the country during the period, it added.
A trough of low has been lying over West Bengal and adjoining area, as a result, its trough has extended to North Bay.
The country’s highest temperature recorded 36.0°C yesterday at Chandpur in the Chattogram division while today’s minimum temperature recorded 19.6°C at Tetulia in the Rangpur division.
Today’s sunset will be at 6:33 pm and Tomorrow’s sunrise will be at 5:17 am.
