Rainfall to continue at one to two districts

The rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over the country in the next 24 hours ending tomorrow at 9:00 am.
The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) this in a weather bulletin issued on Friday.
According to the BMD weather forecast, the rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Barishal and Chattogram divisions.
Besides, day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country during the period, the weather bulletin also said.
A trough of low has lied over West Bengal and adjoining area of Bangladesh, it added.
The country’s maximum temperature recorded 35.5°C yesterday at Khulna district while today’s minimum temperature recorded 20.0°C at Sayedpur in the Rangpur division. Besides, the highest rainfall recorded 61mm in the Rangpur district during the period.
Today’s sunset will be at 6:30 pm and tomorrow’s sunrise will be at 5:20 am.
