Rainfall likely increase; Day temp to rise by (1-2)°C

The day temperature may rise by (1-2)°C and the night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country in the next 24 hours ending tomorrow at 9:00 am while the rainfall activity likely to increase within 72 hours or three days.
The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) forecasted this in a weather bulletin issued on Friday morning.
The BMD weather bulletin says rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Rajshahi, Rangpur and Mymensingh divisions and at “one or two places” over Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions with “moderately heavy falls” at places over Rajshahi, Rangpur and Mymensingh divisions.
The deep depression that is lied over Odisha and the adjoining Jharkhand area will move northwards, resulting in a weakened depression first and then to a well-marked low. “The depression will lie over Bihar and East Uttar Pradesh today,” the Met Office said.
The BMD weather bulletin added that the depression is likely to move northwestwards further, weaken gradually and become “unimportant”.
The country’s highest temperature recorded 36.0°C yesterday at Sitakunda of Chattogram division while today’s minimum temperature recorded 22.1°C at Tetulia in Rangpur division.
Today’s sunset will be at 6:40 pm and Tomorrow’s sunrise will be at 5:12 am.
