Rain or thunder showers likely to continue for 2 days

As an outlook for the subsequent two days, Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Sunday predicted: "Rain or thunder showers is likely to continue."
The Met Office also forecasted rain or thunder showers at many places over the country in the next 24 hours ending at 9 am tomorrow.
"Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at a few
places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Mymensingh, Sylhet, Dhaka, Khulna & Chattogram divisions and at one or two places over Barishal division," said a Met office bulletin issued this morning.
Meanwhile, day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, said the bulletin.
The highest temperature in the country on Friday was recorded 36.8 degrees Celsius in Khulna while today’s minimum temperature is 20.1 degrees Celsius at Tetulia in Rangpur.
The highest rainfall in the last 24-hour as of 6:00 am today was recorded at 61 mm at Rajarhat under the Rangpur division.
The sun sets at 6:32 pm today and rises at 5:19 am tomorrow in the capital.
