Rain or thunder showers likely over all divisions

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Saturday predicted rain or thunder showers at a few places over the eight divisions in the next 24 hours ending at 9 am tomorrow.
"Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions," said a Met office bulletin issued this morning.
Meanwhile, day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the ountry.
The highest temperature in the country on Friday was recorded 37.6 degrees Celsius at Rangamati in Chattogram while today’s minimum temperature is 20.1 degrees Celsius at Tetulia in Rangpur.
The highest rainfall in the last 24-hour as of 6:00 am today was recorded 73 mm at Rajarhat under Rangpur division.
The sun sets at 6:30 pm today and rises at 5:20 am tomorrow in the capital.
