Rain likely to increase in next 3days

As an outlook for the next 72 hours, Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Sunday predicted: "Rainfall activity may increase."
A mild heat wave is sweeping over Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and the regions of Dhaka, Rangamati, M.court, Feni, Bogura, Sirajganj, Mongla, Jashore, Barishal and Bhola, which may abate from some places, said a met office bulletin this morning.
Day temperature may fall by 1-3 degrees Celcius and night temperature may fall slightly over the country, it added
The Met Office also forecasted that light to moderate rain or thundershowers may occur in different parts of the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9:00 am today.
“Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Khulna and Barishal divisions; at many places over Dhaka, Chattogram and Rajshahi divisions and at a few places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at places over the southern part of the country,” according to the bulletin.
Country’s maximum temperature was recorded yesterday 37.3 degrees Celsius at Sylhet and today’s lowest temperature 24.8 degrees Celsius at Khepupara.
The highest rainfall for the last 24 hours till 6:00 am today was recorded 72 millimeters (mm) at Barishal.
The sun sets at 5:57 pm today and rises at 5:47 am tomorrow in the capital.
