As an outlook for the next 72 hours, Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Thursday predicted: "Rainfall activity may continue."

The Met Office also forecasted many places in all divisions of the country are likely to experience light to moderate rain or thundershowers with moderately heavy to heavy falls in the next 24 hours commencing at 9:00 am today.

"Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions and at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at places over the country," said a Met Office release issued this morning.
