Rain likely to continue for 3 more days

As an outlook for the next 72 hours, Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Friday predicted: "Rainfall activity may continue".
The Met Office also forecasted that many places of the country likely to experience rain or thundershowers with the gusty or squally wind in the next 24 hours commencing at 9:00 am today.
"Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at many places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Rajshahi and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rangpur, Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions," said a Met Office release issued this morning.
Besides, day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country during the period.
The maximum temperature of the country was recorded yesterday 31.8 degrees Celsius at Rangamati in Chattogram division while the lowest one today 18.8 degrees Celsius at Jashore in Khulna division. Maximum rainfall for the last 24 hours till 6:00 am today was recorded 41 millimetres (mm) in Mymensingh.
The sun sets at 6:41 pm today and rises at 5:11 am tomorrow in the capital.
