Rain likely at one or two places of country

Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over the country in the next 24 hours ending tomorrow at 9:00 am.
The Met Office Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) forecasted this in a weather bulletin on Monday.
The BMD weather said rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind or squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places of Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions.
Besides, the weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country during the period, the bulletin also said.
Day temperature, on the other hand, may remain nearly unchanged and night temperature may rise slightly over the country during the period.
The mild heat wave that is s sweeping over the Sylhet division and the regions of Dhaka, Faridpur, Chandpur, Rajshahi, Jashore and Kushtia may continue.
A trough of Westerly low has been lying over West Bengal and adjoining area, as a result, the seasonal low has been lying over the South Bay.
The country’s maximum temperature recorded 36.8°C at Dhaka district while today’s minimum temperature recorded 16.0°C at Tetulia in Rangpur division.
Today’s sunset will be at 6:14 pm and tomorrow’s sunrise will be at 5:52 am.
