Rain likely at many places

Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Saturday predicted that rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Sylhet and Mymensingh divisions and the region of Cumilla in the next 24 hours commencing at 9:00 am today.
The weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country during the period, said a Met Office release issued this morning.
Light fog may occur at places over the river basins of the country during late night to morning, the release added.
As an outlook for the next 72 hours, BMD predicted: "Temperature may rise".
The maximum temperature was recorded yesterday at 35.0 degrees Celsius In Rajshahi, while today’s minimum temperature was 16.2 degrees Celsius in Tetulia under the Rangpur division.
The sun sets at 6:04 pm today and rises at 6:15 am tomorrow in the capital.
