Rain likely at four divisions including Dhaka

Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Monday predicted rain or thunder showers at one or two places over four divisions including Dhaka in the next 24 hours commencing at 9:00 am today.
The Met Office also forecasted that weather may remain mainly dry elsewhere over the country during the period.
"Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Dhaka, Sylhet, Mymensingh & Chattogram divisions and weather may remain mainly dry elsewhere over the country," said a met office release issued this morning.
Meanwhile, day temperature may rise slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The country’s maximum temperature was recorded yesterday by 36.0 degrees Celsius jointly at Mongla and Jashore under the Khulna division and the minimum temperature today was recorded by 18.9 degrees Celsius at Tetulia under the Rangpur division.
Maximum rainfall for the last 24 hours till 6 am today was recorded by 60 millimeters (mm) at Sylhet.
The sun sets at 6:22 pm today and rises at 5:33 am tomorrow in the capital.
