Rain likely at few places including Dhaka

Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Tuesday forecasted that rain or thunder showers at a few places over four divisions in the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9:00 am today.
"Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places over Chattogram & Barishal divisions and at one or two places over Khulna & Dhaka divisions. Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country," said a Met Office release issued this morning.
Besides, day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the release added.
As an outlook for next 72 hours, the Met Office predicted: "South-west monsoon may withdrawn from northern part of Bangladesh."
Country's maximum temperature on Monday was recorded 37.2 degrees Celsius at Sylhet and minimum temperature today was 22.1 degrees Celsius at Tetulia in Rangpur division.
Maximum rainfall for the last 24 hours till 6:00 am today was recorded 52 millimeters (mm) at Kutubdia in Chattogram.
Today's sunset at 5:35 pm and tomorrow's sunrise at 5:55 am at Dhaka.
