Bangladesh Railway is going to bring its own brand called ‘Rail Pani’ for the passengers. For this, an agreement has been signed between Bangladesh Railway and supplier Shyamoli Food and Beverage Pvt. Ltd.

The agreement was signed at the Rail Bhaban in the capital on Thursday. Joint Director General (Operations) Rashida Gani on behalf of the Railway and Ramesh Chandra Ghosh, Managing Director of Shyamoli Food and Beverage Pvt. Ltd signed the agreement.

Speaking on the occasion, Railways Minister Nurul Islam Sujan said, “Railways are moving forward from all sides. Various initiatives have been taken to increase passenger service. The quality of the service in the railway will increase due to its own brand’s supplying water.”

According to the Ministry of Railways, the Railways has its own catering service to cater to the traveling passengers. By providing its own brand of bottled water, it will be possible to meet the desired water demand for the passengers as well as creating an opportunity to establish the Bangladesh Railway as a brand.
