RT-PCR labs at Shahjalal Airport get approval

The RT-PCR labs installed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport got approval from the United Arab Emirate to start Covid-19 testing for the departing passengers.
Following the approval, there is no bar for Bangladeshi passengers to travel to Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates.
Air Vice Marshall Muhammad Mafidur Rahman, chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB), confirmed the matter to Daily Bangladesh on Wednesday.
The Middle East country has confirmed the approval in a letter to the CAAB.
According to the letter, passengers traveling to the UAE will be able to coronavirus test from 12:00 pm on Wednesday at the PCR RT-PCR labs set up at the airport. They will have to undergo a coronavirus test from the labs within 6 hours of starting their journey.
