RMCH sees another 14 Covid-19 deaths in 24hrs

Another 14 people succumbed to the Covid-19 at the Corona unit of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH), confirmed Dr. Saiful Ferdous, deputy director of RMCH hosptia on Friday morning.
“5 people died of the virus and 9 died with symptoms in the various wards of RMCH. 7 of them were male and 7 were female. All the casualties aged between 35-65,” he said.
Among the dead, 6 were from Rajshahi, 4 from Chapainawabganj, 3 from Naogaon and one from Natore, Dr. Saiful Ferdous also said.
On the other hand, 4 from Rajshahi 2 from Chapainawabganj, 2 from Naogaon and one from Natore died with symptoms.
The RMCH deputy director said 65 people were newly admitted to the RMCH in the last 24 hours. “43 people were recovered. A total of 170 Covid-19 patients and 253 with COVID symtomps have been admitted in the RMCH.”
560 samples were tested in the last 24 hours in the two labs, yielding the virus-positive rate of 29.75 percent, added Dr. Saiful Ferdous.
