RMCH logs 21 deaths in a day

21 more people died of Covid-19 and its symptoms at the Corona isolation unit of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) from Monday 8 am to Tuesday 8 am, confirmed Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani, director general of RMCH, on Tuesday.
Among the deaths during the 27 hours, seven people died from Rajshahi, three from Natore, one from Chapainawabganj, four from Naogaon, five from Pabna and one died from Jhenaidah, he said.
Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani added 10 people died of Covid-19 and 11 people died with virus symptoms in the span of 24 hours.
In the last 24 hours, 11 men and 10 women died at the Corona unit – 11 of them are over 61 years of age.
As many as 454 patients were admitted to the 513-bed RMCH Corona Isolation Unit till 8 am on Tuesday. So far, 178 people have been admitted with Covid-19. Besides, 177 people are admitted with symptoms. 55 people have been admitted to the hospital in the last 24 hours. 40 people have left the hospital after recovery during the period.
