RMCH logs 14 more deaths at Corona unit

Another 14 people succumbed to the Covid-19 and its symptoms in the last 24 hours at the Corona unit of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) from Saturday 9 am to Sunday 9 am.
Confirming the matter on Sunday (25-07-2021), RMCH director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani said among the dead in the last 24 hours, 8 are from Rajshahi, 3 from Pabna, one each from Natore, Naogaon, Chuadanga.
RMCH director also said among the 14 dead – 8 were male and 6 were female – 8 of them are over 61. They have been advised to bury their bodies following the hygiene rules, he added.
As many as 416 patients were admitted to the 513-bed RMCH Corona Isolation Unit till 9 am on Sunday. There were 20 people admitted to the 20-bed ICU. So far, 178 people were admitted with Covid-19 and 188 people were admitted with symptoms. Besides, 50 people were admitted to the hospital in the span of 24 hours and 50 people returned home after recovery.
