RMCH counts three COVID fatalities

Three more people have died in the last 24 hours at the COVID unit of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH), among these, one died of Covid-19 and two died with symptoms.
They succumbed to the disease between 9 am on Friday and 9 am on Saturday, said RMCH director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani. “Among the deceased – two were from Rajshahi and one from Pabna.”
RMCH director said 14 people were newly admitted to the RMCH in the last 24 hours. Three people returned home after recovery. RMCH COVID unit has 14 Covid-19 patients and 74 with symptoms.
Shamim Yazdani added as many as 42 samples were conducted at RMCH hospital where five people were detected with Covid-19 and 92 samples were tested at Rajshahi Medical College’s PCR machine where two people were diagnosed with the virus.
