RMCH counts another four fatalities

The COVID unit of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) has reported four more deaths in the last 24 hours from Saturday 8 am to Sunday 8 am, among these, three were female and one was male. Besides, 15 people were detected with the Covid-19.

Two people from Naogaon, one from Jhenaidah died with COVID symptoms while another died of other complications even being tested COVID-negative in Joypurhat in the last 24 hours, said RMCH Director Brigadier General Dr. Shamim Yazdani.

He added that 128 people were admitted to the COVID Isolation unit till Sunday 8 am. 22 were hospitalized in a day and 19 returned home after recovery.

Meanwhile, as many as 327 samples were conducted in the two PCR labs of RMCH and Rajshahi Medical College, yielding the virus positivity among 15 people with a detection rate of 4.96 percent.
