RMCH Corona unit log 13 more deaths in 24hrs

13 more people died in the last 24 hours at Corona isolation unit of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) while undergoing treatment from Friday 9 am to Saturday 9 am, of these, 5 died of Covid-19 and 8 died with symptoms.
RMCH director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani said 5 from Pabna, 3 from Rajshahi, 3 from Naogaon, one each from Chapainawabganj and Natore succumbed to the Covid-19, symptoms during the period.
“A maximum of five 5 people died in ICU in the last 24 hours,” the RMCH director also said.
A total of 433 patients were admitted in the 513-bed RMCH Corona Isolation Unit till 9 am on Saturday, including 186 from Rajshahi, 38 from Chapainawabganj, 76 from Natore, 30 from Naogaon, 85 from Pabna, 12 from Kushtia, three from Chuadanga and three from Sirajganj. There were 19 people admitted to the 20-bed ICU.
So far, 188 of them have been admitted with Covid-19 and 178 were admitted with symptoms. 48 people were admitted to the hospital in the last 24 hours. During this, 32 people left the hospital after recovery.
Earlier on Friday, 188 samples were tested at RMCH hospital lab, 41 of them were detected with the Covid-19, on the other hand, 281 sample tests were conducted at the medical college lab where 59 people were detected with the virus.
According to the test, the Covid-19 detection rate in Rajshahi is 24.32 percent and 16.18 percent in Chapainawabganj.
