RMCH COVID ward counts 5 more fatalities

Five people were died in the last 24 hours at the COVID ward of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH), among these, four died with virus symptoms and one died after being tested COVID-negative.
Among the deaths, two from Rajshahi, one each from Chapainawabganj, Naogaon, and Pabna.
Confirming the matter, RMCH Director Brigadier General Dr. Shamim Yazdani said 30 people were admitted to the COVID ward in the last 24 hours, bringing the current patient hospitalized to 116 against 240-bed.
Earlier in the day, as many as 273 samples were conducted in a span of 24 hours at two PCR labs in Rajshahi where 12 tested COVID-positive with a detection rate of 4.39 percent.
