Quader on way to Singapore

Ailing Road transport and bridges minister Obaidul Quader is being taken to Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore on Monday for better treatment.
An air ambulance, carrying the minister, left Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka around 3:50 pm. He is accompanied by his family and medical board members.
Earlier, an ambulance carrying left Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) for the airport with Quader at 3:20 pm.
The decision to sent Quader abroad was finalised after renowned Indian cardiologist Dr. Devi Shetty examined him at BSMMU where the Awami League leader was undergoing treatment with three blockages in coronary arteries since Sunday morning.
