Quader diagnosed with 3 coronary artery blockages

Three blockages have been found in the coronary artery of Road transport and bridges minister Obaidul Quader.
Prof Syed Ali Ahsan, chairman of the hospital’s cardiology department, said this while talking to reporters at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU).
The blockages were found following an angiogram, said the doctor.
Quader, also the Awami League General Secretary, has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) in the capital at 7:00 am on Sunday, as he complained of breathing problem.
Later, the minister was shifted to the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) of BSMMU. A medical board has already been formed for his better treatment.
