Quader Mia receives ‘special honor’ in New Jersey

Abdul Quader Mia, founder of the Abdul Quader Mia Foundation in New York and General Secretary of the United States Bangabandhu Foundation, has received a special honor for helping the expatriate and distressed people affected by the corona epidemic.
Amy Kennedy, the granddaughter of former US President John F. Kennedy and the congressional candidate from New Jersey’s Congressional District-2, presented the award to Abdul Quader Mia on September 22.
Expressing his feelings after receiving the special award, Abdul Quader Mia said, “I will always by the side of humanity for the rest of my life. Today’s award will encourage me to work for the welfare of the people.”
Everyone has praised such an initiative of the Bangladesh Association to awaken the community that is languishing in the corona situation.
Organizing President Sharif Khan, Vice President Miraj Khan, General Secretary Sohail Ahmed, Deputy General Secretary Farhad Siddique, Chief Adviser Syed Mahmud Kawsar, Board of Trustees Chief Kanchan Ball, Community Leader ATM Masud, Abul Bashar Bhuiyan, ATM Rana, and Local Police Chief Eric Shappler delivered the greetings.
