Road transport and bridges minister Obaidul Quader has said that the government is thinking to allow public transport services to resume operations maintaining the health guidelines after the ongoing lockdown.
He came up with the information while interacting with officials of Barishal Road Zone, BRTC, and BRTA on Saturday.
Obaidul Quader called for adherence to hygiene rules even if the lockdown was relaxed, saying the use of masks and hand sanitizers must be made mandatory. They will be penalized if anyone takes fare more than the fixed for leaving half the seats vacant in public transport.
