International Crimes Tribunal Investigation Agency released the report in Dhanmondi

International Crimes Tribunal Investigation Agency has released an investigation report against 15 of Mymensingh men for war crimes charges.

Md Hanna, the Chief Coordinator of the organization, released the investigation report on Thursday at the organization’s Dhanmondi office. This is the 74th report of the Investigation Agency. 

The total accused in this case is 15. The names of the remaining 10 were not released as they are absconding. 

The five arrested — Mohammad Gias Uddin Khan, 77, Syed Badiur Rahman alias Banu Mia, 70, Md. Umed Ali, 87, Md. Abu Siddique, 75, Md. Abdul Khalek, 62. They were members of the then Razakar force.

In the press conference, it is informed that the accused were charged with robbery, arson, abduction, detention, torture, rape, murder and genocide during the 1971 Liberation War. They were accused of — murdering a total of 130, injured 20-25, one raped, setting fire and looting of 25-30 houses.  

The investigation into the case began on August 6, 2017. A 390-page investigation report was published in four volumes.
