Farhad Raza lead Prime Doleshwar has moved to the top two of the points table after defeating Legends of Rupganj in the 9th round match of Dhaka Premier League.

Prime Doleshwar batted first after losing the toss at BKSP on Sunday and scored only 118 runs. Chasing the trivial target Rupganj all out for 104 runs. Doleshwar moved top two in the point table following their 14 runs victory. Prime Doleshwar has 10 points in 9 games. Prime Bank Cricket Club is at the top of the table with 12 points from same nine matches.

Earlier, Prime Doleshwar's two openers could not manage big score, but Saif Hasan (16) and Fazle Mahmood (29 off 38) kept the wheel of run running.

Mohammad Shahid took 3 wickets for 27 runs in 3.5 overs.

In reply, Rupganj lost two wickets at the beginning like Doleshwar. Pinak Gosh returned with 5 runs and Sabbir returned for 1 run. Sabbir is not seen running in Dhaka League. So far he has played 9 matches and managed to cross over forty runs in just one match (41). Apart from this, he could not score 30 runs in any other match.

Al Amin (30) was the top scorer for Rupganj while opener Ajmer Ahmed made 23 and Jaker Ali scored 13. Rupganj managed to score 104 runs for 8 in 20 overs.

Kamrul Islam took 3 wickets for 15 runs in 4 overs. Besides, Shafiqul Islam took 2 wickets.
