Pranab, Bidhya Devi to address JS special session

Former Indian president Pranab Mukherjee and Nepalese president Bidhya Devi Bhandari will address the special session of the Jatiya Sangsad on March 22 and 23 on the occasion of Mujib Borsho.  

President's Press Secretary Joynal Abedin confirmed that after the courtesy call of Parliament Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury with President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban on Tuesday evening. 

Mr. Abedin said that President Abdul Hamid will invite two world leaders to put their speeches at the special parliament session for marking the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. 

At that time speaker informed the President about the overall preparation of special Parliament sessions and other programs including children fair at the National Parliament complex on 19 March as part of the program. 

Besides, the speaker also informed the President about the various development activities of the Parliament complex while the President praised the initiatives taken by the Jatiya Sangsad on the occasion of the birth centenary of the greatest Banglaee of all-time and the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

President Abdul Hamid said that the new generation will know about the life and work of the father of the nation through this celebration at home and abroad.
