Policeman crushed under bus in capital

A police member was under the wheels of a bus near Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the capital on Wednesday night.
The deceased was identified as Kamrul Islam, 33, SI at Gulshan Police Station.
Deputy Commissioner of Uttara Division of the police Md. Shahidullah said that a speeding bus ran away after crushing Kamrul around 11:00 pm. The police officer died on the spot.
On information, Kamrul's body was recovered and sent to the morgue of Dhaka Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
Kamrul Islam, hailing from Sirajganj Sadar, used to live in a rented house near Gulshan police station with his family. He has a daughter.
