Police remand for Dr. Sabrina; what next

JKG Healthcare chairman Dr. Sabrina Chowdhury has been arrested over the incident of cheating people by providing fake reports in the name of coronavirus test. She will be taken to court on Monday and police will apply for remand for questioning her.
Harun Aur Rashid, the deputy commissioner of Tejgaon division, said this at a press conference on Sunday. Earlier in the day, she was called to the Tejgaon DC office and later arrested in a phase of questioning.
JKG Health Care CEO Arif Chowdhury, who was arrested in the case in connection with issuing fake COVID-19 reports without the test, and his wife Dr. Sabrina Arif Chowdhury was behind his cheating activities. More than 15,000 fake reports of coronavirus tests were found in one of their laptops.
Earlier, police have arrested Dr. Sabrina's husband Arif Chowdhury along with five more associates. According to the police, 27,000 patients have been reported for coronavirus test from JKG Healthcare so far. Of these, coronavirus samples of 11,540 people were properly tested through IEDCR. The reports of the remaining 15,460 people were made on the company's laptop. Evidence of this crime has been found in the confiscated laptop. Arif Chowdhury has confessed to the police during interrogation that 6-7 JKG workers made fake reports.
