“But, voters will have to switch off their mobile phones after entering the centers,” he said at the briefing held at Nirbachan Bhaban in Agargaon.

He maintained that no motorized vehicles, even private cars, can play across the country without permission from the Election Commission on voting day.

PREPARATIONS ALMOST COMPLETE

The secretary said the commission has almost completed its preparations to hold a free, fair and participatory election on December 30.

According to him, ballots and boxes will be reaching the districts by tonight and will be handed over to presiding officers tomorrow morning.

Tomorrow, presiding officers will be carrying the election materials to respective voting centers with armed police guards and stay overnight at the centers.

They will be ready to begin the vote the following day on December 30.
