Petition filed in Madras HC seeking arrest of India captain Virat over gambling charge

India’s national cricket team captain Virat Kohli has encouraged online gambling, following such allegations, a case has been filed with the Madras High Court with such allegations. A Chennai-based lawyer has filed a case seeking the arrest of the world's best cricketer Kohli and actress Tamannaah Bhatia.
The lawyer has applied for a ban on all online gambling apps. As a result, youth are becoming addicted to gambling. Allegations made in the court said that stars like Virat Kohli and Tamanna were being used to brainwash the youth. And that's why the duo should be arrested.
The application mentions a young man who borrowed money for online gambling and could not repay it. That is why the young man committed suicide. Indian media reported that the case would be heard next Tuesday.
