Law enforcers on Sunday night arrested a top leader of Neo-Jama’atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) in connection with the ‘planned attack’ from a militant hideout at hotel Olio International in Dhaka`s Panthapath area on August 15 last year.

The arrestee was identified as Mamun, 21, a Surah member of Neo JMB.

Deputy commissioner Masudur Rahman of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) said, a joint team of Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit, intelligence wing of Police headquarters and Bogra district police conducted a drive in house building area of Uttara sector 7 in the capital around 7 pm and arrested Mamun.
